Dante Mannello
I am motivated by working in a rigorous setting in which I am able to design and implement long term fixes to problematic issues which maximize efficiency, reduce waste, and drive productivity. Outside of Engineering, I am very passionate about baseball, spending time in nature, and expanding my culinary skills. I also enjoy traveling to learn from unique cultural perspectives. As I enter into the job market, I want to continue to expand my experiences and work in a design-oriented setting. Industries that inspire me are aerospace, defense, automotive, consumer electronics, and robotics because these industries require high levels of innovation and creativity to develop new products in order to stay ahead in a competitive marketplace. I look forward to honing my engineering skills and engaging in compelling work as I develop creative projects while being mentored by seasoned professionals.

Past Work Experiences
Honeywell Aerospace:
Worked as a mechanical engineering co-op student for 6 months in Honeywell's Advanced Alternate Powder Devision
The main product produced by this devision are hydrogen fuel cells used to powder unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV).
The main tasks I accomplished in this position were both designing or redesigning new or outdated test and assembly fixtures in order to increase the overall efficiency of the assembly process.
Another main task I accomplished in this position was designing modifications to UAV components that integrated with the fuel cell technology in order to reduce weight and increase the overall efficiency of the system.
Nova Biomedical:
Worked as a mechanical engineering co-op student for 3 months in the consumables devision.
This company develops, manufactures and sells advanced blood analyzers.
The main tasks I accomplished in this position were centered in a design and testing oriented role in which testing and assembly fixtures were either designed or modified to improve the current processes.
Other tasks I accomplished in this position included in depth design problem solving, as well as engineering documentation, modification and generation.
